Urban Mini-retreat for busy working women on June 11th 2017

New beginnings in a changing world

DESIGN THE SECOND HALF OF YOUR LIFE

Transitions, change and the resultant new beginnings paralyze many of us women who have both expectations and worries about what's next in our second half of life.

As a result, we often resist the steps that would actually breathe life into new beginnings that hold promise for "what's next".  These steps include deeper listening, and new perspectives that arise when our mind is calm and still. It also includes sharing with other like-minded women in a safe and supportive environment.

Our pathways for what's possible is limited by our old story, now well-worn

Uncertainties, self-doubt and worry turn to fear.  The fear signals  cortisol to bathe our brain. This feeling becomes so familiar, we doubt ourselves when we 're not fearful.

We might not be tuned into it, but as the cortisol (the fear hormone) is released over and over again, the fear takes hold deep within us, and is with us everywhere we go. It seems as though we can't change.

"Everywhere you go, there you are"

This continues over time and we accumulate  "fixed" stories about who we are and what's not possible and what's missing in the face of change.  Maybe others have told us this story about ourselves and we put a lot of emotional value on it.

Beyond the constraints of your story, can you tap into your own resources and imagine taking a new path, taking a small risk that requires  a dose of courage, and faith?

That is what it means to "Find Your Inner Artist".  You may be working on your dream business (how awesome!) yet find yourself distracted by noisy mind chatter, that eats at the fringes of your strategic plan.   How do you start to create right actions from your dreams in the face of noise, chaos, uncertainty and change?

Yes, we embody what we believe in our mind. Are you able to move forward - aligned with your deepest desires....despite self-doubt and fear?

As I evolve from "doing"  marketing consulting to wellbeing coaching, I've chosen an inner journey for myself to broaden what's possible and design my "next".    Now, as a positive psychology coach, I am co-creating with other like-minded women.

Are you ready?

Changing times require new ways of living and being.

This Urban Mini-Retreat is for women who want to breakthrough self-limiting beliefs that keep us fixed on the past and what's missing..instead of what we can create.

Join other like-minded women for an

Urban Mini-Retreat

In our beautiful "design studio" in the Back Bay, a comfortable light-filled space, we'll honor our own truth and design from the inside out.

Your goal is to find your "inner artist", and take steps that align with who you are.

While everyone's experience in this retreat will differ, you can expect to:

  • turn down the volume on mind chatter, comparisons,  and negative what if's to "be" with uncertainty and move forward anyway
  • notice your inner critic's agenda and create anyway knowing its not you
  • identify 3 low risk steps you can take to move into your new beginning

Retreat Description:

This specially-designed urban mini-retreat is for women who want to make a transition with ease and joy.  It is ideally situated for women who are business owners, entrepreneurs, career women or in transition between jobs. Or you may be ready to retire and looking for your third act!

As a women's wellbeing coach and communications consultant, I lead a non-linear, organic approach to small group coaching based on positive psychology and whole being.

The object isn’t to make art, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.
— Robert Henri

Topics we cover include:

  • Transition vs change
  • Mindset skills that help take you through transition
  • Self-compassion, risk taking and courage

We gather in our "design studio", a small but light-filled working room so women can be inspired and supported.  It's where we cultivate self-renewal and new beginnings, away from distractions we are so familiar with.

"Kelley is so down to earth, funny and smart and clearly has a gift for doing this kind of work and facilitating it. It was heart warming to witness her intuitiveness to sense and gauge the tone and vibe of the group as the retreat progressed, and to flow and shift with it. I am grateful for and enjoying the continued support and connection and looking forward to the next retreat." - Deborah K Silliman Wass, Artist, Writer
